This piece began as a secondhand XL rugger short — rigid olive green cotton twill, boxy and forgotten. We saw potential where others saw a shape to give away. The sizing was completely reworked, a sailor-inspired front opening was built in, new functional pockets were added in contrasting khaki, and the whole silhouette was redesigned from the original fabric. Finished with metal studs and turquoise details, closed with metal snap clips down the front.

Fully resized and rebuilt from an oversized original. Front snap-clip opening. Functional pockets on both hips.

A cropped top and bare legs for daytime, or alone as the statement piece — this short doesn't need much else to carry a look.
