Byron Bay Flame Coat
D02-006 — Pacific Winter Drop
A coat built from scraps, patience, and a pattern cut by hand.
The raw denim body carries flame-shaped panels, each one first drawn as a pattern, then carefully cut by hand and appliquéd, finished with metal studs along every edge. The soft faux shearling trim was sourced as upholstery fabric, never intended for clothing, discovered by chance and repurposed for its unexpected softness. The lining is pieced together entirely from vintage men's shirts, and mirrors and embellishments that risked catching on the fabric were removed by hand before construction began.

Raw denim body with hand-cut flame appliqué panels and metal stud detailing. Faux shearling trim (originally an upholstery fabric). Fully lined in patchworked vintage men's shirting.
